Overview
Baibua is a planning and note-taking application that helps users manage calendars, tasks, notes, templates, reading logs, bills, savings goals, reminders, categories, and related media.
We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information Baibua collects, how it is used, where it is stored, when it may be synced or backed up, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
Baibua may collect or store the following types of information, depending on how you use the app:
- Account information: email address, display name, profile photo, sign-in provider identifier, and authentication status when you sign in with Google or Apple.
- App content you create: templates, calendar tasks, recurring tasks, subtasks, notes, categories, daily planner entries, weekly planner tasks, Eisenhower tasks, reading journal books and logs, bill entries, savings goals, saving logs, descriptions, icons, colors, dates, reminder settings, and similar planning data.
- Media you add: profile photos, note images, task images, reading journal covers, savings goal backgrounds, and custom icons.
- App settings and local preferences: language, theme, font settings, week start day, calendar display settings, onboarding state, notice banner dismissal state, app-lock settings, backup settings, and similar app preferences.
- Premium and quota state: a local secure premium identifier, premium status, feature quota checks, and purchase/paywall state needed to unlock paid features.
- Device and technical information: app version, device/platform information needed for app operation, app security verification powered by Google Cloud, crash or error context that may be generated by platform or third-party services, and local notification scheduling data.
- Usage analytics: app interaction events, screen views, feature usage, session information, approximate technical diagnostics, and app-instance identifiers collected through Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Analytics.
- Voice input, when used: microphone and speech recognition permissions may be requested to convert speech into text. Baibua stores the resulting text only if you choose to insert or save it as app content.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide core planning, note-taking, reminder, template, and media features; save your content locally; sync data across devices when enabled; create, restore, and manage backups; authenticate your account; schedule local reminders; manage Premium access and quotas; understand product usage; maintain reliability; prevent abuse; and comply with platform requirements.
Local Storage, Cloud Sync, and Backups
Baibua is designed with local-first behavior for supported features. This means your content is stored on your device first. Local storage may include a local database, local app settings, local image cache, and secure storage for sensitive local values such as app-lock and premium identifiers.
If you use the app as a guest or in local-only mode, your supported app content stays on your device unless you choose to back it up or later sign in and activate sync. If you sign in and activate cloud sync, supported app content and media may be uploaded to Baibua cloud services powered by Google Cloud so your data can be synced and restored on supported devices.
If you use manual or automatic backup, backup files may be stored in your Google Drive app data area or iCloud Documents, depending on your selected platform/provider. These backups are controlled by your account with that provider.
Third-Party Services
Baibua uses third-party services to operate the app, including Firebase and Google Cloud, Google Analytics for Firebase / Firebase Analytics, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Google Drive, iCloud, Superwall, app store payment systems, and device operating system services such as local notifications, image picking, speech recognition, secure storage, and platform permissions.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use a third-party advertising SDK to serve ads in the current app implementation.
Permissions
Baibua may request permissions only when needed for a feature, including photos or media library access, notifications, microphone and speech recognition, and network access. You can manage permissions from your device settings.
Sharing and Disclosure
We may share or disclose information only with service providers needed to operate the app, when you choose to back up, restore, sign in, upload media, or sync data, when required by law, legal process, or platform policy, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the app, or others.
Data Retention
Local data remains on your device until you delete it, clear local data, uninstall the app, or your operating system removes it. Synced cloud data is kept while your account and sync data remain active, unless you delete content, delete your account, or request deletion where available.
Backup files remain with the provider you selected, such as Google Drive or iCloud, until deleted by you or by the app's backup management features. Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, caches, or records required for security, legal compliance, or platform operations.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. Within Baibua, you can edit or delete app content you created, use guest or local-only mode where available, sign in or sign out, clear local app data, create, restore, or delete backup files, delete your account where supported, and manage app permissions through device settings.

Security
Baibua uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including platform authentication, Google Cloud security controls, local secure storage for sensitive local values, app security verification, and account-owned backup providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, app lock, Google account, Apple account, and store account secure.
Children's Privacy
Baibua is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use online services without parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in a way that requires parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us.
International Processing
Because Baibua uses services such as Firebase and Google Cloud, Google Analytics for Firebase, Google, Apple, Superwall, Google Drive, iCloud, and app store payment systems, your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your country of residence.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify users through the app, store listing, or other reasonable channels.
